Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

SitePeek ("we", "us", "our") is a service operated by DinoDigest LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using SitePeek or by authorizing SitePeek to access services on your behalf (including your Google Business Profile), you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Publicly available business information

We collect business information that is publicly available from sources such as the Google Maps Platform (via the Places API) and other public directories. This includes:

This information is publicly available and we use it to generate website previews and audits for local businesses prior to any account creation or authorization.

Information you provide directly

Information collected automatically

Tracking phone number & call data

When you start a paid SitePeek subscription, we assign your account a dedicated tracking phone number that we use to attribute inbound calls (including for the 90-day call-volume refund described in our Terms). When a customer calls that number we collect:

We do not record call audio and we do not transcribe conversations. Voicemail, if you have it enabled on your own forwarding number, is handled by your carrier — SitePeek does not store voicemail messages. Call metadata is processed via our telephony subprocessor (Twilio) and retained for up to 24 months for the purposes of (i) verifying the performance-refund trigger, (ii) showing inbound-call counts and missed-call alerts in your dashboard, and (iii) operational improvements such as fraud detection and routing reliability. We never sell call metadata or share it with any third party outside the subprocessors listed in Section 5.

Google Business Profile data (only with your authorization)

If you authorize SitePeek to manage your Google Business Profile, we access data described in Section 2 below.

2. Google User Data & Limited Use

SitePeek's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What Google data we access

When you sign in with Google and grant SitePeek the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage scope, we access the following data through the Google Business Profile APIs, limited to the locations you authorize:

How we use Google data (Limited Use)

We only use Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features that are visible and prominent in SitePeek. Specifically:

What we will never do with Google data

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

4. Actions We Take on Your Behalf

When you authorize SitePeek to manage your Google Business Profile, you control which actions we are permitted to take through approval settings in your SitePeek dashboard. By default, sensitive actions require your approval before publication. Possible actions include:

We will notify you of changes we make to your Google Business Profile within 48 hours via your SitePeek dashboard activity log and, where applicable, by email. You can revoke any authorization at any time (see Section 7).

We will never reply to reviews, post Q&A, create listings, or edit listings on your behalf without your prior specific and express consent.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only for the purposes described:

6. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Security

We protect data in transit using TLS/HTTPS and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by two-factor authentication. We monitor for and respond to unauthorized access attempts.

Retention

7. Your Choices & Revoking Access

Revoke Google access

You can revoke SitePeek's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will prevent SitePeek from making further changes to your Google Business Profile. You can also remove SitePeek as a manager of your Business Profile at business.google.com.

If you ask, we will disassociate your account from our system within seven (7) business days. This includes deleting Google user data we obtained via the Google Business Profile APIs (cached business information, performance metrics in non-aggregated form, reviews, photos, posts, and Q&A content), not merely disconnecting the OAuth authorization.

Update or delete your information

You can update most account information directly in your SitePeek dashboard or by emailing us. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal information at any time at hello@sitepeek.co.

Communication preferences

You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP.

8. SMS Messaging

We may send one-time text messages to business phone numbers listed publicly on Google Maps to share a free website preview we have built for that business. Message frequency is limited to 1–2 messages per business unless the recipient replies and continues the conversation. Standard message and data rates may apply.

For customers who have signed up for SitePeek, we send transactional SMS related to your account (preview links, billing, support, and service notifications). You can opt out of non-transactional messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@sitepeek.co.

Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS content) is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is not shared with third parties.

9. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with rights to: (a) know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) correct inaccurate personal information; and (d) opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@sitepeek.co.

10. Children's Privacy

SitePeek is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-product notice before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of SitePeek after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
