Towing in Riverside, CA: Google Visibility Snapshot (2026)

Published July 2026

What the 29 Riverside towing listings we analyzed show about websites, reviews, and ratings — a city-level slice of SitePeek's 2026 study, with the sample caveats stated plainly.

Of the 29 towing companies in Riverside, CA we analyzed in 2026, 48.3% had no website on their Google Business Profile, the median listing had 18 Google reviews, 34.5% had fewer than 10 reviews, and the mean rating was 3.92 stars. These are sample statistics from SitePeek's Google Places discovery pipeline — full methodology — not a census of the market.

What does the Riverside towing sample show?

Between May and July 2026, SitePeek's business-discovery pipeline — built on the Google Places API — returned 29 listings for towing companies in Riverside, California. We analyzed each listing's website link, review count, and star rating, and compared the results against the 4,604-listing national sample from our 2026 Local Business Google Visibility Report. One caveat before the table: this is the sample our pipeline discovered, not a roster of every towing company operating in Riverside. Read each number as a competitive read on the analyzed field, never as a universal market share.

What this means if you run a towing company in Riverside

On websites, this sample sat close to the national picture: 48.3% of the 29 analyzed listings had no site linked from their Google Business Profile, against 43.7% across the 4,604 businesses in our national study. Among the Riverside towing companies we analyzed, a linked website alone still separates a business from a meaningful slice of the field sharing its map results.

The median listing in this sample had 18 Google reviews (the median across our full national study was 45), and 34.5% of the analyzed listings had fewer than 10 reviews (nationally: 21.0%). That puts this sample near, but under, the national norm: enough reviews in the field that an empty profile reads as a risk, few enough that a steady ask-after-every-job habit can move a business up the visible pecking order within a season.

Ratings gave this sample more spread than most: the mean across the 29 analyzed listings was 3.92 stars, below the 4.6-star mean in our national study. In most categories a strong star average is table stakes; among the listings we analyzed here, scores actually vary — so a profile that keeps its rating strong, resolves complaints, and visibly answers reviews separates itself in a way it could not in a field where every score clusters at the top.

Two habits move every number in the table above, in any market: give Google a website link so the profile has somewhere to send people, and ask for a review after every completed job. Neither costs money — and among the listings we analyzed, both remain unevenly adopted enough to be an edge.

How the Riverside towing sample compares to our other data

We ran the same read on towing companies in 4 of our city samples. Ranked by review depth, the Riverside sample lands 3rd of 4: a median of 18 reviews among the listings we analyzed, versus 139 in Chicago, 27 in Fresno, 13 in Bakersfield. Review count is the first number a customer weighs before they click, so that ordering is a rough map of how hard the reviews race runs in each place.

Where this data comes from

Methodology — what this sample is and is not.
  • Source: SitePeek's business-discovery pipeline, which enumerates local service businesses through the Google Places API by service category and city. Data collected May–July 2026.
  • Sample, not census: the 29 listings here are the towing companies our pipeline discovered for Riverside, California — not every towing company in the city. Every figure on this page means "of the listings we analyzed," never a universal share of the Riverside market.
  • Parent study: this snapshot is a city-level slice of the SitePeek 2026 Local Business Google Visibility Report (4,604 listings across 325 cities), which documents the full method and its limits.
  • "No website" means no website URL was present on the business's Google Business Profile at discovery time. A business may own a site that is not linked from its listing.
